5 Brilliant Ways to Teach Your Audience About eBook

New authors of eBooks have been asking me many questions about how they can educate their audience about reading digital books. The truth is that where your target audience is matters. In Europe, a large number of people read an eBook to a physical book. It’s a digital world and you will find several readers across Europe. However, if you live in a country where readers are few, then getting enough attention can be quite the challenge. Nevertheless, for me, using the following strategies seems to work well enough:

5 Ways to Inform People about Your EBook

Facebook

Using social media is the best way to promote your eBooks. It works for all other products and services worldwide, so make use of it for your eBooks too. The best to do this is by making a page or starting a community of your own. You can share short and informative content about your eBook on Facebook and market it at zero cost. This does mean that you have to work hard and be very interactive and engaging for the target audience. Occasionally, share free copies too.

Make Your Own Website

Nowadays, the best way of educating people is through websites. In fact, for any business, product, or service to be successful, a website is very important. Make your own website and share information about your eBook. This offers you an opportunity to make your own videos, podcasts, and tutorials if that’s a requirement to sell your book. You have the freedom to as you wish on your website. Remember, blogging about your eBook will be the quickest way of informing people what it is about and why they should read it.

Use Paid Posts

Another way of getting enough attention or attracting people is through paid posts. Placing advertisements can be the quickest way of spreading the word. On Facebook and through other advertising platforms, you can put up paid adverts and link them to your website. Upon seeing your advertisement, interested people can visit you and purchase a copy. Amazon is a platform that handles advertisements and takes its payment for adverts in the form of royalties.

Join Communities and Groups

You must join communities and groups online where you can talk about your eBook. The larger the audience reading your eBook, the quicker the word will spread. On social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and others, this strategy is very useful.

Seminars

This may be an expensive way of teaching people about your eBooks, but it does work very well. Through educative seminars, you can tell people why to read an eBook or your particular eBook. The word of mouth is usually better and more effective than relying solely on written content. Do not forget that very few people take their time to read information. They would rather listen to it or watch it.

It is important to educate people about the importance of reading and about how eBooks make things better. The digital version of books helps us avoid wastage of paper and felling trees. I am a major promoter of Green Living. I prefer people recycling things and avoiding excessive and unnecessary wastage of natural resources. We live in a time where we need to conserve trees, not use them for the paper.
