Pakistan Super League 2018 - Game Forecast & Schedule

The drafting procedure of Pakistan Super League 2018 held at national cricket academy on November 12, 2017. The PSL 2018 will kick start onward from February 22 to 25 March 2018, according to PSL schedule. All different matches will take place at four different venues Dubai, Sharjah, Lahore, and Karachi, as announced by the PCB.

PCB introduced a new entrant in Pakistan Super League 2018 named Multan Sultan and it will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the third edition of PSL opener. Peshawar Zalmi will try to defend their title. It will be the first-ever edition of PSL in which six teams will be featured and each team will take on twice each other in the group stage that will last until Friday, March 16. This will be followed by the playoffs that will be held from March 18 and last until March 21. The final will take place later on 25th of March. The best part is all the playoffs and the finals will take place in Lahore and Karachi respectively. These are the only matches that will be played in Pakistan.

Biggest Trade of the Pakistan Super League 2018

The Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi will be moving from Peshawar Zalmi to Karachi kings, PCB officially announced in the press release. It was the biggest trade of PSL 2018, as part of the trade, Peshawar Zalmi, and Karachi Kings will be swapping picks in gold and silver categories of the player draft. In previous two addition of the PSL he played a key role in the victories of Peshawar Zalmi, In PSL 2017 he was tremendous with his performance though he has not played final knock because of his injury. Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi thanked for his services for the team. He said, “Shahid Afridi is a world-class player and the entire Peshawar Zalmi family thanks him for his contribution to our team.”

The Pakistan Super League 2018 squad announcement was after the PSL Draft that held on 12 November 2017 in a flashing ceremony in Lahore. All franchises were allowed to pick players in Emerging Player Round (two), Silver Round (two), Supplementary Player Round (four), Gold Round, Diamond Round, and the Platinum Round.

Emerging category: $10,000-12000

Silver Category: $22,000-33,000

Gold Category: $50,000- 60,000

Diamond Category: $75,000-80,000

Platinum Category: $140,000-230,000

PCB announced that overseas players who feature in matches in Pakistan would be paid $10,000 per game they appear.
